About the Foundation
The Charitable Foundation "Development of the Country" began its journey in September 2022, when thousands of people in Ukraine found themselves in difficult circumstances. We started with a simple thing - to help those who need it most.
Since then, the foundation has been approached by servicemen, local communities, boarding schools, large families, single mothers, widows of fallen soldiers, and the elderly. We try to hear from everyone and find an opportunity to support.
Today, the fund works in several areas:
assistance to military units and provision of them with necessary equipment;
support for social and educational institutions;
assistance to children, displaced persons and vulnerable families;
participation in recovery and rehabilitation programs.
Our main principle is kindness and humanity above all else. We don't just provide aid, we give people back a sense of security, hope, and faith that tomorrow can be brighter.
Together with volunteers, partners, and all those who care, we are building a community where every contribution becomes a brick in the foundation of a future restored Ukraine.

KEY PERSONS
Oleksandr Horbachevskyi is a Ukrainian military serviceman, volunteer, and founder of the "Development of the Country" Charitable Foundation.
In the past, he worked in the field of business and entrepreneurship, but after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, he radically changed the direction of his activities. On February 26, 2022, he joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine, choosing the path of a defender of the state.
From the first days of his service, Gorbachevsky has been actively involved in performing combat missions on the front line. His activities combine not only military service, but also volunteer work - he organizes the provision of units with necessary equipment, supports the civilian population, and helps wounded soldiers.
Charity work
In response to the large-scale challenges of the war, Oleksandr founded the Charitable Foundation "Development of the Country", the purpose of which is:
providing the Ukrainian military with modern technologies and equipment;
support for communities affected by war;
helping children and their families recover from loss and trauma.
His motto is “To remain useful to people everywhere and always.” It is this life position that determines both his personal activities and the foundation's development strategy.
Personal credo
Leadership and responsibility are key traits he demonstrates both in military service and in volunteer activities.
Willingness to help is one of his main values, which is manifested in his support for fellow citizens, citizens, and initiatives aimed at developing the country.
The search for a true purpose - Oleksandr himself notes that the path of a defender and founder of a charitable foundation became for him not only a challenge, but also an inspiration, because he found true meaning in serving people and the state.
